- Captain
Phil Durfee
Licensed by the U.S.C.G, Phil Durfee is the Captain of Tuna Tyem Charters and grew up on the Cape running many local fishing boats. He has over 20 years fishing experience on the Cape waters and is a specialist in inshore, striped bass and fluke fishing. Phil has been building custom jigs and fluke rigs for years that have consistently caught fish year after year.

Daniel Tye
The owner of Tuna Tyem Charters, Dan grew up in the area and has been fishing the Cape waters for over 15 years. He has owned many boats before and has worked on some of the best commercial and charter boats in the area. His specialty is offshore charters including giant, medium and school bluefin tuna, shark fishing and big game canyon fishing for marlin, yellowfin tuna, Mahi-mahi, and swordfish. His custom built tuna bars and canyon rigs have out produced and out caught most others over the last many years.

This 32' BHM is new to our fleet as of this winter and is replacing our 30' Ros. We are currently outfitting her with a new 450hp Cummins diesel engine, new electronics, head (bathroom), decking, seating, berths (beds) and much, much more.

- 35' Duffy
This Duffy is powered with a 430hp Volvo diesel and holds well over 300 gallons of fuel. We reserve our Duffy for our offshore and canyon charters as she holds much more fuel and a little more space than our BHM. As we tend to book early, call early to get her!
